FORSHEDA shock absorber

FORSHEDA shock absorbers are made of EPDM rubber, a material with excellent resistance properties against sunlight, salt water and ozone. EPDM rubber will not fade.

The line is simply passed through the patented nylon clamps at each end, other nodes are no longer necessary. A simple but secure way, because the more train comes on the line, the better keep the terminals.

The elongation length of FORSHEDA rubber shock absorber can be adapted to local conditions:
1 trip a leash around the shock absorber
in calm waters without surge or wave action.
little freedom of movement for the boat, low attenuation
2 trips lead to the shock absorber
with a slight surge and tidal waters.
3 trips a leash around the shock absorber
in open and unprotected moorings.
plenty of room for the boat, great cushioning
Ideally, each mooring line should be equipped with a FORSHEDA shock absorber.
With a berth at the fixed bridge all 4 shock absorbers act together and same virtually every ship movement.
With a berth at the floating dock should not be used under any circumstances to FORSHEDA shock absorber. Only then can the oscillating movements of the bridge balance.
